Controller

The operator named in the imprint is the controller. For any privacy question an informal email to the address given there is enough.

Analytics only with your consent

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages work — but only once you agree in the banner. Before that no Google script is loaded and no connection is made; if you decline, it stays that way. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165 TKG), withdrawable at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. The recipient is Google Ireland Limited; data may be transferred to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision. Fonts and the street index remain on our own server.

What the estimate processes

For the estimate we process only details of the property: type, postcode, area, number of rooms, year built, condition, outdoor space, parking and whether it is let. When you submit an enquiry, we link the saved estimate to your contact details. It is then not anonymous. The result page contains no contact details but is accessible to anyone with its link. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working model (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

What a request processes

If you send a request we process your name, email address, phone number, the address of the property and your indication of when you plan to sell. The legal basis for sending you your estimate is fulfilling your own request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Passing data to an agent

Your contact details are passed to a licensed Viennese estate agent — but only if you ticked the separate box in the form. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent for contact, for passing on data and for market information are separate; you can give each one individually and withdraw any of them at any time by informal email. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

We use service providers to run the site and to send email. They process on our behalf and on our instructions.

Retention

Requests that do not lead to business are anonymised 24 months after the last activity: name, email, phone number and address are deleted. Where business did result, the seven-year retention periods under Austrian tax and commercial law apply. The anonymous property data is kept without any personal reference.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. An informal email is enough. If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully you can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).

Server logs

Technical log data arises when the site is accessed, as it does on any web server: IP address, timestamp, page requested and browser identifier. It is used solely for secure operation, is not combined with other data, and is deleted automatically after 14 days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protection against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
